Pizza Hut Tuscani Lasagna Review & Giveaway (Ends 4/7)

I admit it; I am a TV advertisers dream consumer! Every time I see a commercial for something on TV, I immediately want it and have a taste for it. Strange I know, but it always happens. Now I have some self-control and fast forward through as many commercials as I can, but when I was pregnant I was really bad! Well lately I have dying to try out the new pasta dishes from Pizza Hut because we are big into Italian food in our house, and now we are not even close to Italian. I don’t know what it is, but it just looks so good and I love that I can get pizza and pasta to satisfy my entire family’s favorites.

Well I caved and we got the Tuscani Lasagna from Pizza Hut and boy was it good! I figured it would be good, because I do like their pizza and I have tried their other pastas, but my husband was skeptical. He is all about homemade lasagna, well not entirely homemade as I use noodles out of a box! I had to order my husband cheese sticks and Buffalo wings because he said he probably wouldn’t like the Lasagna.

First, I ordered my meal online because with your first Pizza Hut online order you save 20%, yeah for instant discounts! I then decided to go pick up the meal since I had errands to do anyways. The whole car ride home, I smelled the delicious lasagna and couldn’t wait to get home and rip open the box!

The Tuscani Lasagna features lasagna noodles, real ricotta, Parmesan and Romano cheeses and a hearty Italian-seasoned meat sauce. For just over 3 lbs. of Tuscani Lasagna and 5 bread sticks it only costs $14.99. (Even cheaper if you order online for the first time!) Pizza Hut’s website says it feeds a family of four, but if you have it will salad and bread sticks then you can do what we did and stretch it to 2 meals! I could not believe how much was there, I will say though it is thinner than the lasagna you are used to, but the taste makes up for it. I can’t put my finger on it, but something in the sauce was just so good and tasty! How did my husband love it? Lets just say he barely touched the wings and cheese sticks because he was too full from eating half the pan of lasagna practically!

Now I am of course dying to try out the other 3 Pizza Hut pastas: Meaty Marinara, Creamy Chicken Alfredo, and Premium Bacon Mac ‘N Cheese. Pizza Hut began introducing these restaurant-quality pastas in April 2008 and I can’t wait to see what else they can come up with! With pasta dishes, especially lasagna being so time consuming, why not treat to something that is equally delicious, if not better, and convenient! You can even order any of the Tuscani pastas or other menu favorites up to a week in advance at Pizzahut.com! And with 6,200 restaurants in the US and more than 4,000 restaurants in 100 other countries, Pizza Hut must be doing something right!
