Usually artists that focus on remaking songs never sing the songs as well as the original artists. I know I actually get frustrated when I hear song remakes because its hard for me to appreciate the song when I keep hearing it from the original singer. Well Michael Buble is an artist that definitely knows what he is doing.
It has been two and a half years since Michael Buble has released a CD, but he is back with ‘Crazy Love’ which came out October 9th. This CD features two original songs along with his always original take on eleven classics from various extras. He lived in recording studios from LA to Vancouver (his hometown) for the past 6 months to create as he calls it his “ultimate record about the inevitable roller coaster ride of relationships.”
As a child I was always with my two grandmas and we drove everywhere. Their favorite music was Frank Sinatra and big-band music and honestly Michael Buble’s versions are a breathe of fresh air. I love how he smooth and young his voice sounds throughout his ‘Crazy Love’ CD. It is mostly consistent with his other CD’s so if you liked them, then this one will also be a winner and even if you haven’t really liked Buble’s music before but like one of the original tracks, its still worth checking out his take. I did feel this CD was more pop-like than his others, but he still kept the big band jazz in the background.
