Okay so candy is my weakness. I have tried to stick to healthy snacks and nutrition bars, but I haven’t found a good substitute yet. I have tried many different of the chocolate nutrition bars and they just don’t do it for me.
One nutrition bar I just tried is called Tiger’s Milk. Honestly when I first heard the name I was skeptical and leary. I stood by the garbage so I could spit it out if it tasted dry and yucky. Boy was I shocked. I actually enjoyed the Tiger’s Milk bar. I enjoyed it so much that if I hadn’t none, I would have never guessed it was healthy for me.
Tiger’s Milk has been delivering essential proteins, vitamins and minerals since the 1960’s and is available in Protein Rich, Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter & Honey and Peanut Butter Crunch. The makers of Tiger’s Milk bars, Schiff Nutrition, has been one of the most trusted and respected companies in the nutritional supplement industry for more than 70 years. Schiff makes sure that each bar is loaded with 16 vitamins and minerals and contains up to 10 grams of protein, all with zero grams of trans fat. In fact, Tiger’s Milk was named by the editors of American Way magazine (November 2008 issue) as one of the only six “Most Edible” energy bars of the 30-tasted.
Tiger’s Milk nutritional benefits:
– 16 vitamins and minerals
– Up to 10 grams of protein (king-size bar)
– Good source of calcium and antioxidant Vitamins A and C
– Natural flavors
Overall, I was more than pleasantly pleased with Tiger’s Milk and I honestly am going to be keeping these bars around for a healthy snack. My favorite is the Peanut Butter Crunch and even my mother-in-law was impressed with the 6 grams of Protein it includes.
So when you are thinking of Halloween candy, consider adding Tiger’s Milk into the mix!

These are my favorite bars but I can’t find them anywhere! I would order a case if I could find somewhere that had them. I like the crunchy peanut butter ones… It seems no one has them now
Adrienne Arthur says
Could they substitute Agave syrup for the high fructose corn syrup?
Andrew says
Yea your 100% smoking crack – its loaded with high fructose corn syrup, sugar, preservatives, and chemicals. In NO way is it healthy, please get educated.

Am shocked you didn’t mention their 2nd ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. I too think the bars taste great but I will never eat them again until they switch out that toxic ingredient. Sure won’t give them a raving review until they do.

Tiger Milk bars are generally cheap in cost and taste good to those who enjoy peanuts/peanut butter but as far as nutrition goes, they’re not healthy. They’re “healthier” than candy bars but that doesn’t make them nutritious.

WTF?! Gross!!
Richard Roll says
The first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. Just based on that I would say they are not healthy.
