One of my favorite snacks of all time is Jell-O. Something about that squishy yummy substance is such a comfort and makes me smile. Now you may think of Jell-O as just gelatin, but they also make fabulous pudding cups so whatever sweet your in the mood for, they got you covered!
I got the chance to try out some yummy Jell-O snacks with my family (unfortunately I had to share with them!) and they were all a hit!
First off, Jell-O actually comes in three main varieties: Sugar Free Jell-O Gelatin Cups, Sugar Free Jell-O Pudding Cups, and Original Jell-O Pudding and Gelatin Cups.

Sugar-free JELL-O Pudding Cups
- Make anytime snack time with sugar-free JELL-O pudding cups. After lunch or in the middle of the afternoon, enjoy creamy and sweet Dulce de Leche or Chocolate Pudding.
Original JELL-O Pudding and Gelatin Cups
- Whether it’s after breaking a sweat during basketball practice, finishing math homework, or simply as a tasty dessert, kiddos will love taste of JELL-O cups. With bright colors and delicious flavors, like the new Lemon-Lime Splash/Outrageous Orange and the Berry Blue/Outrageous Orange combination packs, you’ll be the coolest mom on the block. The sweet taste of JELL-O pudding cups comes in flavors like Chocolate, Vanilla, and Chocolate Vanilla Swirl. Kids will love these delicious, creamy treats.
MY THOUGHTS:
So my favorite that we tried was the Strawberry Gelatin and the Chocolate Vanilla Swirls. My sons loved them all, especially the Berry Blue Gelatin probably because it’s blue! I love though that these cups are low in calories (For example, Strawberry is only 10 calories and Chocolate pudding is 60 calories) and are the perfect size for a snakc or treat. I love too throwing these Jell-O cups in my bag when we go to the park or for my son for his snack at school! I will say those eating Jell-O outside is much cleaner, at least for my kids who tend to get it everywhere! Jell-O is also usually reasonably priced and I actually prefer them for snack time over cookies and chips.
With summer coming, I know I will be stocking up on Jell-O cups, I am not sure why but Jell-O to me always taste the best in summertime! Also, since I am attempting at snacking on healthier foods I love that I can eat the same treats as my kids! If you are looking for a more “adult” version of Jell-O, make sure you check out their Mousse Temptations!

Mama’s Money Savers Disclosure: I was sent samples of Jell-O for this review. I was not compensated in any other way.

I have had the new mousse varieties and I didn’t care for the raspberry but I did enjoy the lemon.

Way back when I was a child, Jello made a type called 1-2-3 that separated into three layers. Yum!!
