MY THOUGHTS:
I haven’t used an electric toothbrush in years, but I am so glad I gave this one a shot! The Sonicare Essence is quiet and yet so fast! I can really feel the bristles working on each of my teeth and scrubbing the plaque off. I love the handle of it too as it makes it easy to hold and brush with.
I did find the 2-minute brushing time was a lot longer than I normally brush, so I am glad that I now know to brush until it turns off, but of course I can turn it off sooner if I like. This toothbrush is so simple yet so sophisticated. It only comes with one brush head, but you can buy extra heads for it and it even came with a holder to hold two brush heads, The storage holder is pretty cool too for traveling! Oh and you don’t have to keep it on the charger if you don’t want too, for example I keep my toothbrush by the sink and when it needs to be charged I put it on the charger which is on the other counter in my bathroom. Overall, this toothbrush definitely rocks and with all of its great benefits I am sold on it! I also did check on the brush heads and they come in 2-3 packages for an average of $10 a brush head. Whether this be for yourself or as a gift, it really is a great toothbrush!
BUY IT: You can buy the Sonicare Essence 5500 e-series for $89.99 at most retailers, including Target Best Buy, Kohls, Costco, and Sears. You can also find it at Amazon for $74.93 with Free Shipping.

Interesting-I tried giving an electronic toothbrush a go awhile back, but it didn’t really work out for me.
But I know for a fact my dad likes electronic toothbrushes! So this is definitely an idea for him 🙂
