    ABOUT:

    Off-the-Wall Zaniness, Bizarre Super Villains, Wild Sight-Gags, and Over-the-Top Heroics?It’s all here in this debut collector’s edition BALLOONATIKS DVD! Five ordinary teens are mysteriously transformed into Flator, Squeeker, Airbrain, Sparky, Bouncer and Leaky – otherwise known as The Balloonatiks, rubbery, shape-stretching super heroes sworn to protect Hot Air City against any evil-doer. In their very first animated comedy-adventures, The Balloonatiks take on Mad scientist Dr. Poppemoff and his brainless behemoth in Meet Deflator and wacky villain Mr. Point in Pop Goes the Balloonatiks.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    Okay so my youngest son loves balloons so I knew he would love this DVD and anyways how could anyone not like superheros made of balloons?  The DVD is adorable and quick, probably over too quick which is the only flaw.  We have re-watched the two episodes on the DVD over and over, some more episodes would have been nice!  The characters are all brightly colored and animated, and I love the music in the background.  My sons love all the balloon characters, especially little Leaky!  Before this DVD, I had never heard of Balloonatiks, but they actually have a few books, comics, games and a whole interactive world to explore online.

    I think the episodes are funny and honestly don’t mind watching them with my boys.  It is a nice break from all the popular characters they watch.  The episodes are about fighting a villain but it is not your typical villain fighting but it is cute and appropriate for kids.

      I learned that they have games and an online store on their website and that their website looks like it is still being developed with more fun stuff coming.

      I like the Airbrain’s wacky Facts section and found THIS entry I thought my kids would love…well, er…AND I am looking to get a puppy for MY birthday! Maybe it would help MY THINKING & memory? dont know about the better behavior thing..heh heh!

      I learned at that site they have comics,jokes,games,a screening room an a lot of fun for kids to play there,my oldest grandson would love this site,ive never heard of them before
