ABOUT:
Just Eyewear is a direct seller of prescription glasses online. They sell glasses for up to 90% off what you would pay at an actual brick-and-mortar store, because they have no overhead. They are strictly an online store, do not sell overpriced designer brands or need expensive equipment.
What makes Just Eyewear different is they offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, where if you are not satisfied for any reason at all you can return your glasses for a full refund!
MY THOUGHTS:
Okay so I admit I was leary of buying glasses online because you never know how they are going to look or fit once you get them. I figured though I buy practically everything else online why not try glasses, especially for the drastic money I will be saving! I go through a lot of glasses it seems like since I had kids, yes that is the trend! Anyways, shopping at Just Eyewear was a breeze.
First, I checked out some of their articles and shopping guides who helped me determine the best frames for my face and how to order glasses online. I mean normally you go to a store, pick out a frame and a sales associate takes care of the rest, now since I was doing some of the legwork to save money I wanted to make sure I was educated. So next I started shopping. I like that you can shop by Gender, Frame Shape, Type, Material, Size, and Price. There are tons of glasses to choose from so these were great ways for me to narrow down my choices and options. For example, I knew I wanted Women’s frames and I decided on Full Rim since I felt they would be the most durable around my kids. Then I played around with the options.
I decided on a pair and submitted my order, unfortunately the pair I first selected was on backorder so Just Eyewear gave me the option of choosing a different pair and offering me a lens upgrade or waiting for it to become available. I decided to pick a new pair and they were here within no time. I will add though that my pair and someone else’s got mixed up, but I genuinely think that was an accident and not a regular occurrence. I also appreciated the fast customer service with shipping them back and getting the correct pair. I should also add that you do need to have a current prescription from within the last two years to order your glasses. I went to the mall and got my vision checked at one of those places as my health insurance covers one eye exam a year. So basically the prescription glasses would have cost me about $55 plus the exam fee if you need one. I think of the days when I used to pay a few hundred and then I would need to replace them sooner than I would have hoped. Now I don’t feel so terrible if these get broken or lost, although of course I hope they don’t!
Overall, I feel like my experience with Just Eyewear was a good one. A few hiccups but I had my new glasses in my hand in just a couple weeks. For the price and quality I can’t complain either.
