    ABOUT:

    “Wubbzy Goes To School” puts the “cool” in “school” with six charming episodes that will have everyone ready to hit the books.  In “Who Needs School?,” Wubbzy is nervous about going off to school for the very first time and decides he can learn all he needs to know on his own.  When things don’t work out as expected and Wubbzy has no one to play with, he realizes that maybe school isn’t so bad after all.  In another episode, “New Kid On The Block,” Wubbzy learns that meeting and accepting new friends can be a big! big! big! job. When Murphy, a larger-than-life new student, joins the class, Wubbzy finds that good friends can come in all shapes and sizes.

    Additional episodes include: “Gotta Dance,” “Wubbzy the Star,” “You Gotta Have Art” and “Magic Tricks,” starring Wuzzleburg’s own Moo Moo the Magician!  Fans will also be “wowed” with cool bonus features such as the “Meet Wubbzy’s Schoolmates” photo gallery, coloring and activity sheets and more.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    This DVD is full of Wubbzy-filled fun!  There are six episodes and they are all somewhat school related and have all great lessons.  The first episode has Wubbzy going to school and he is so nervous and realizes how fun it can be and gets excited.  My son went to preschool last year but only for a few months since he wasn’t 3 in the beginning of the school year, so this DVD was a nice refresher for when he starts next week.  I explained about playtime (Wubbzy was in recess), listening to the teacher, and playing nice with friends.  Since he doesn’t really have schoolwork yet, it was nice to see Wubbzy playing with his friends but still learning, shows how fun school can be!  The episodes also flows nicely into each episode so there are no pauses for the Wubbzy marathon!  There are also lots of singing and dancing, as well as the typical bright graphics from Wubbzy!  Very fun to watch no matter the time of year!

      I do everything the night before. I give baths, pack lunches, get clothes laid out so my morning is not hectic.

      I have learned to get showers done night before, so they have longer to sleep in and wake-up happier in the morning. My daughter is only 6, but needs all her sleep 🙂

      I try to do everything the night before because I am so tired in the morning that I would forget to do half of those things if they weren’t already done.

      Shop end of school year sales to stock up for start of next school year. I let kids pick one outfit on their own then rest up to me. Talk about what the next school year will be like and expectations.

      Get everything DONE the night before…clothes out, lunches made, bags ready to go….sometimes I even get the cereal out in the bowls!

      Be sure to check those back-to-school lists for school supplies. If things are tight, why not check out the outlets. There are some great deals online too. 🙂

      my son is going to school for the first time, so i talk about it everyday..something he’ll do there, friends he’ll meet etc, so that hopefully when the day comes he’ll be ok with going…gulp!
