    Before she was ever introduced to Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a steadfast belief in fairies.  Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue begins in summertime in the beautiful English countryside. An enchanting encounter unfolds when Tinker Bell is discovered by Lizzy, and as their different worlds unite, Tink develops a special bond with the curious girl in need of a friend.

    As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of the fairies in jeopardy.  This action-packed adventure takes the fairies of Pixie Hollow on a daring flight to London to save Tinker Bell and all of fairy kind.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    I have loved Tinker Bell since I first saw her with Wendy and the Lost Boys.  I mean what is not to love, she is so cute!  Now even though I have two boys, I am a Disney princess at heart and Tinker Bell is a princess to me!  I thought this movie was adorable and the graphics are amazing.  Tinker Bell and her fiary friends really come to life and are just so perfect looking!

    The story is about Tinker Bell meeting a human for the very first time in Fairy history.  Tinker Bell of course makes friends with the young girl and they work together to help Lizzy build a relationship with her workaholic  father.  There are only a few fairies in this DVD and it is really easy to get to know and like them also.  I am still at awe at the animation and everything the fairies get to do, and now I am curious to see the other two Tinker Bell DVDs that have come out.  I also want to add that even though this movie went straight to DVD instead of the big screen, it does not lack in quality!  I recommend this DVD to any mom looking to watch a fun and exciting DVD with their child regardless of gender.  My boys loved it and think the little fairies are fun and they have since pretended to fly around my basement like fairies!

      I have three boys so they’d probably try to catch the fairy in their bug- net and build it a nice cage to keep it in!

      I think Emily would pass out if she met a fairy, she seriously loves them, and I talk about them like they are real.. lol, I mean.. they *could* be… and Allison would probably ask if she can fly too.. I love Tinkerbell! We are going to rent this movie from the redbox tomorrow! can’t wait!

      If my daughter found one, I’m sure she’d make it her new best friend or like a sister. In a house full of boys, she’s dying for a little sister or a girl to play with. She gets tired of smelly boys, HA!

      It’s likely that they would catch it and keep it for a few days while it has a visit with our family (that’s how it works with the insects and snakes that they’ve caught).

      My three year granddaughter is a big Peter Pan fan, when I asked her about the fairies, Tinker Bell, she said she would have them take her to see Peter Pan, she is really in love with Peter…it’s funny!

      My five year old granddaughter is a big Tinkerbell fan so I know she would sit down and have a great conversation with any fairy (but Tinkerbell is her favorite)

      If my child met a fairy, she’d probably call her daughter to show her the fairy, and they would both probably would stare at her for hours. My granddaughter would probably question her to death too, and dance with her. Yep, definitely dance with her.
