ABOUT:
Magic Bumpers are firm foam wedges designed to go under bedding as a safer and easier alternative to traditional children’s bed guards. They are high enough to keep most children from rolling or scooting out of bed, but small enough to fit under a standard sheet. The Magic Bumpers also work on beds where traditional bed rails just won’t attach and there is no entrapment space for your child to roll under.
Features:
- Each bumper measures 5 inches high x 5 inches wide x 24 inches long
- No assembly – just slide it under the fitted sheet or mattress pad.
- Child Friendly – No entrapment space between bed and bumper.
- Parent Friendly – Does not get in the way of bed time stories!
- Space Saving and Lightweight – easy to store or take with you to for traveling!
- Versatile – So many uses from infant up to 10 years of age or weighing up to 100 lbs. (Infant Co-Sleeping, Bed Guard Rail, and Bed Divider.)
- Secure and Stable – Firm foam has non-slip surface and stays in place under bedding.
- Safe – Made of fire-retardant polyurethane upholstery foam
- Easier Housekeeping – The bedding goes right over the top, no moving rails or working around them.
- Economical – Costs less than a conventional bed rail.
- Fits any size bed – Cut to fit or add more bumpers for length.
- Foam – the material is more comfortable than plastic or wood.
- Made in the USA
MY THOUGHTS:
I just moved my 2 year old into the extra bed in my 3 year old’s room because he kept climbing out of his crib and crawling in with his brother. Now I think he is too little to sleep in a big bed by himself and with the nightstand on one side and a gap on the other I was nervous. The nightstand is perfect height to were if he got really restless and rolled he would knock his head right on it. The other side there is a big enough gap between the bed and the wall due to the bed design that I was afraid he would fall and get stuck in. Now I tried using an old bed rail I got from a friend but it got in the way and the kids though it was a toy. It was a pain when I wanted to change the sheets or read him a story.

Magic Bumpers are awesome! I love them! I put one on each side of each of my boys beds. I decided to just use one foam piece on each edge because its length is 24 inches which is perfect for my son’s height right now. So a four-pack ($28.99) was perfect for two beds – now that is the cost of one bed rail! I feel so much better knowing if they roll they will bump into the foam and it won’t hurt them and they actually like it because it keeps them in the middle and all snug! I had no problems placing the Magic Bumpers under my son’s mattress pads and they have no budged. I love that my son’s can’t take them out and now they just think it is part of the bed. I think this would be especially great for a newborn because even though I didn’t really Co-Sleep, I can’t tell you how many times I would fall asleep with my son in our bed and worry I he would fall off or I would roll over him – with Magic Bumpers I could have safely put him in the middle of the bed or contained on the side.
Overall, I highly recommend Magic Bumpers no matter the age of your child, it is not big enough to get in the way but it is safe enough to keep your child from falling out of bed. You also can’t bet the price either! I actually can’t find anything I don’t like about them other than I wish I would have known about them when my son’s were babies too!
BUY IT: You can purchase Magic Bumpers online for $16.99 for a two pack, $21.99 for a three pack, or $28.99 for a four pack. There are also other accessory items you can check out there!

I was thinking the same thing for when we bunk their beds when they are a little older!
