Pretzel Crisps Review

Snack Factory has done it again and revamped their popular Pretzel Crisps.  With their slogan being “Rethink Your Pretzel” they have decided to rethink their packaging too.  The bags are now packaged in brighter colors, an updated logo, new pictures to show off the pretzel goodness and even 20% more crisps!  They are now 7.2 oz. bags for $2.99.

Pretzel Crisps are thin, flat baked pretzels with no transfats, no saturated fat, no cholesterol and only 110 calories per serving.

Pretzel Crisps come in a variety of different flavors , are always crunchy, and perfect for dipping or spreading.

Deli Flavors:

• Everything
• Sesame
• Buffalo Wing
• Garlic Parmesan

Modern Classics (available in natural food stores and specialty stores):

• Classic
• Supreme
• Cinnamon Toast

MY THOUGHTS:

I love pretzels to start off with, but once I tried Pretzel Crisps I got hooked.  What is so nice about them is that you can spread on cheese, a dip or just top with something and it stays.  A regular pretzel would crumble in my hand or not hold anything on it, but Pretzel Crisps are perfect for basically anything you need it for!  I especially love to dip them in cheese or really they are delicious alone!  They are so thin, lightweight, but thick enough to hold a dip or even a slice of meat or fruit.

Now Pretzel Crisps are a little bit more than a typical big bag of pretzels, but with the different flavors and overall fresh taste, they are worth it.  I always get compliments too when I put them out for parties as I am always surprised when someone hasn’t tried them before.  I will say though that at the grocery stores I shop at, you can only find the Pretzel Crisps by the Deli Counter on display so I think they can get easily missed – oh well their loss is my gain!

I got to try out the five Deli Flavors in their newly packaged bags and I have nothing by good things to say.  They are first off a perfect size bag whether it is to sit and snack from or take on the go.  Next off the flavors are perfect alone or if you  add something it just makes them better!  If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Buffalo Wing which coincidentally is also my 2 year olds favorite!  They have just the right amount of spice and flavor.  The Everything and Sesame flavors are great because they have little spices and seeds on them.  The Garlic Parmesan crisps are bold and if you like garlic then these are perfect.  These are probably my second favorite Pretzel Crisps!  Finally, Original is my favorite if you do want to dip or spread something on them, because they are plain and taste well with anything!

I am also excited to check out their new Indulgents Preztel Crisps coming out including:  Carmel Crunch, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Crunch, Milk Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate Crunch.
