Or, is there someone you feel that could really use a note from you right now? A friend that’s going through a rough time in a relationship, letting her know you’re there for her. Your mom, just an out of the blue card telling her how much she means to you. Your husband, thanking him for supporting you, loving you, and being the husband that he is. A blogger friend that you’ve maybe never met in person but just want to tell them how much their friendship means to you. There is a special power of a hand-written, personalized note card. Not only does it mean so much to the recipient, it’s an amazing feeling when you drop that card in the mail.

      As a teacher, I fondly remember a note I received from the parent of one of my former students telling me what a difference I made in his life. Words can mean so much. Thanks for this opportunity to win and all your hard work.

      One of the nicest notes I ever received was from my 2nd grade teacher when I won an award when I was a senior in high school. In her note she even remembered where I sat in her classroom. She recently passed and it was nice to be able to share that story with her family.

      My mom used to always send me hand written cards and notes. She has been gone now for 18 months and I cherish each one.

      My grandma and I used to write letters and notes to each other often. I’ve kept every one of them. I’m glad I did. She passed away in April and her notes are reminders of the bond we had. Thanks.

      I received a note back from my GYN/OB doctor after thanking her for putting me at rest durning my annual pap smear….She sent me a thank you note for the thank you note…she mentioned that they don’t get many notes like that..except for births lol

      My dad or my husband’s mom; they do so much for our family and they are always seemingly happy to do it. Sure, I thank them in person, but a letter is special and I can make sure everything gets said.

      I got a lovely note from someone who recieved one of my crocheted baby sweaters through Operation Top Knot, part of Soldier’s Angels, designed to make families with a deployed member feel a little less alone by giving them virtual baby showrs. The woman talked about how much she liked my offering, and of how she would hold onto it
      into the future. Made me a little puddly-eyed.

      I’ve received many notes because I have quite a few pen pals, but I would like to SEND many notes thanking all my friends for just being there for me 🙂

      My 13 year old just celebrated his birthday and I have family members out of state I need to send Thank You notes to. I was just looking at the cards today at Barnes & Noble. I’ll wait and see if I win. 🙂
