Holiday cards are something that is really important to me because most of the people I send it to I don’t really see or talk to the rest of the year. So my holiday cards really show off our personality and what my family has been up to. I don’t usually write a note or anything since I usually super busy at Christmas time so I do try to put a few pictures on the card and nice saying.
I will say though that I probably spend entirely too long shopping for cards and I always choose Christmas photo cards. Ever since I have gotten married photo cards are important to me and now with my boys I usually have 3 pictures on the cards – 1 of each boy, and then a family picture. This year I think it will just be my boys since a family picture is just too hard right now at the ages they are! I also really like when the website I am using allows me to search according to size and number of pictures on the card, and then from there I like to have a good amount of designs to pick through.
I checked out Shutterfly, which I have been happy with in the past and found three cards I really like, nothing is set in stone yet though! They are all fun and bright!
I am also ordering some personalized thank you cards this year since I always send out thank you cards and it would be nice to have some personalized ones rather than generic ones! I don’t send out thank you cards to everyone but I do like to have them on hand for holidays and birthdays. They are also nice to send just to say Hi or just a nice note!
