    The Chicago Toy and Game Fair is held in Festival Hall B at Navy Pier. As the only toy and game fair open to the general public, every year it hosts a great variety of entertainment for all ages under one roof. You’ll find live entertainment, seminars for parents and educators, and best of all you’ll have a chance to sample the hottest new toys and games, and even holiday shopping!

    Saturday, November 20 : 10am to 6pm

    Sunday, November 21st : 10am to 5pm

    Adults: $10.00   Children (3 to 13): $5.00

    Free admission available for:

    • Educators
    • Librarians
    • Scouts in uniform

    MY THOUGHTS:

    I had never heard about the Chicago Toy & Game Fair before but it definitely looks like fun!  There are tons of Hands-On Toy & Game Exhibits, the World’s Largest Etch-A-Sketch, Monopoly Tournament, Gigantic Interactive Wobble Board Game, Chess, Stage Musicals and performances, Open Play Area, Inventor Challenge, and more!  I am bringing my 2 and 3 year olds and although I will probably regret it since they will want me to buy them all the toys, I think it will be fun for them to check everything out.  I am most excited about the Open Play because I will be able to see what they like and don’t like!

      I would love to go because not only am I a future educator and love looking for new games and ideas to use in a classroom, but I also babysit and love being able to give unique and fun game gifts that I can play with the kids! Thanks for the giveaway! The show looks like so much fun!

      This is the first year we hear about the Toy and Game Fair. Both my husband and myself think its a great family outing, especially because it is right before the Christmas holiday. In addition, our 5 yr old is a HUGE Star Wars fan!! Thanks!

      I have never brought my kids to this event before. It looks amazing! My son loves Star Wars and although he will be 10 in March still loves to build and create with toys. My daughter has a Sensory Disorder and I am also hoping I can find some things geared towards her as well.

      Oh, I would LOVE to go to see what toys my 11 year old son really likes! He is the hardest kid to buy for, and going to the store, we can’t take it out and play with it! I think it would be a blast to go to, and I’d be the best Mom in the world for taking my kiddies to such a cool place!

      I think this sounds like something my kids would really enjoy. I like there are play areas and game exhibits. Soiunds different, I have never heard of this before.
