    Looking for a way to “up do” your hair for the holidays? Scunci has hair accessories to create dozens of styles from polished ponies to glam up-dos.  The Scunci UpZing  and new Evolution hair ties, headbands and claw clips utilize new stay-put technology to hold your style until you take it out.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    The Scunci brand is one I have been using on my hair as long as I can remember.  They just seem to make products that work and are always coming out with something new!  The new Scunci Evolution hair bands come 14 to a pack and features the no-slip grip technology, not to mention they are also gentle to your hair.  There is nothing worse for me than using a ponytail holder and having it yank of my hair or irritate me.  They are made of like a silicone rubber too so they easily slide in your hair to grip it.

    The new Scunci Upzing Double Combs is definitely an interesting product in itself.  It is a criss cross design that uses two combs to slide and hold into your hair.  The combs allow for a secure and comfortable hold while the criss cross design is a cute pattern to show off.  Whether you are just looking for something fun to do with your hair or want a classy up-do, the Upzing can create dozens of styles with one easy stretch!  I found it easy to use on my sister, and it makes me wish my hair was longer now so I could use it!  (I have my hair layered short in the back so there really isn’t anything right now it can grab!)  Another nice feature of the Upzing is that unlike other hair products that stick out in the back, the Upzing holds your hair close to your head so you can comfortably lean your head back or lie down!

      I either wear it down simply after blow drying, but if I don’t wash it that day, I’ll wear it in a ponytail either low on my neck or up and perky.

      I always wear my hair in a pony, it is very thick and always hard to find a ponytail that will fit it, or hold it in place.

      I put my hair up in a pony tail often…sometimes a half pony tail. I wish I could do a french braid myself though!

      After my shower, while hair is still wet, I make several random twists and let it dry that way. It’s simple and it creates a funky ringlet-y effect.

      My hair is shoulder length and is usually down for work, in a pony tail for working out or other active stuff, and up in a twist for going out.

      It depends on the day, but I usually straighten it with a flat iron and put in a couple bobby pins to keep my bangs to the side. Thanks.

      Unless I’m at the gym, I typically just leave my hair down. When I go to get it cut, I tell the stylist, “I wash it, condition it and let it air dry. I don’t own a curling iron or a flat iron and I use my hair dryer less than once a year. I just need something that allows me to wash & go and have decently flattering hair.” If the cut is kind of short, I might put my hair in two braids for anything that requires my hair to be out of the way.

      In the summer, though, I usually wear my hair up off my neck. I have a couple of artisan hair sticks I prefer to use. However, when I want to go out someplace fancier–well, I don’t really have anything to keep my hair up. My sister has a couple of Upzings and has me convinced that I should probably have at least one.

      My latest style is something of a “knot”. I twist my hair around and secure it with a stretchy band. I guess you could also call it a messy bun.
