In addition to the debut of the new crib bedding sets, Carousel Designs recently launched their Nursery Designer® Version 3.0 interactive tool allowing for customers to experience a more accurate visualization of their nursery.  Carousel Designs is the only baby bedding company that allows parents to design their own crib bedding, see it online, and choose other elements of the nursery to preview the room before making a purchase.

MY THOUGHTS:

While I already have all my baby bedding from my first two sons, I wanted something special and new for my new arrival.  I think every baby should receive at least a new blanket of its own and I also wanted to change up our nursery theme.  I fell in love with Carousel Designs when I first saw their adorable designs!  I really wish I had heard about them when my first son was born as I spent about $300 on his nursery bedding from Babies R Us and it was not the greatest.  It frayed in the wash and was not soft and cozy like you’d want for a newborn.

Since I don’t know the sex of this baby yet, I have to stay gender neutral, which is fine with me anyways since I just redecorated our nursery with a new animal theme of curtains and wall hangings.  While I love all the new designs from Carousel Designs, I love the classic and gender-neutral pattern of the Animal Parade crib bedding.  I received a Animal Parade crib blanket to check out and love it!

These adorable animals will parade right into your nursery as well as your heart.  A Safari has never been as much fun as it will be for your little one when they giggle along with Henry the Hippo or Larry the Lion and all of their friends.  This modern crib bedding collection features our Giddy Dot fabric in rich shades of orange, taupe, slate blue, and brick red paired with plush Cream Matelassé and is expertly handcrafted in the U.S.A.

While the patterned side of the blanket is a little stiffer than I might like, I am sure after a few washes it will be just fine.  The inside of the blanket is the best part though as it is so soft and cozy.  I wouldn’t mind a blanket like this for myself!  I can’t wait to wrap up our new baby with this adorable animal blanket and love that it is a special blanket just for him or her!  It is also nice to know that I can buy matching pieces or just buy a whole set if I’d like!
