    With summer travel in full swing and the ever changing cost of gas prices affecting everyone (here is Chicago we have some of the highest prices), Energizer has a deal to help out!  They are rewarding Energizer Lithium batteries with a $10 Prepaid Discover Gas Rewards card.

    Specially marked package of Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries and Energizer Advanced Lithium batteries has specially marked codes included.

    1. Visit www.facebook.com/energizer
    2. Click on tab for the Lithium Gas Reward and follow the instructions to input your battery pack codes.
    3. A $10 Prepaid Discover® Gas Rewards card will then be mailed to you from the fulfillment company.
    4. The last day to redeem codes is 1/31/12 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

      We try to plan one trip a week to run all the errands that need to be done. That way we aren’t coming and going/.

      I save on gas by shopping every other week instead of every weekend. I buy more in bulk and save money that way too. Coupons, gift cards, carpooling, and simply doing without. It tough to make ends meet, but we’re managing right now.

      try not drive locally, we have started walking to the local corner market for small items. Our oldest daughter and I combine trips out of town and try to make them all on the same day and drive 1 car.

      To save gas, I try to consolidate as many trips and errands as possible. For instance, stopping at the grocery on the way home from work instead of making a separate trip some other time.

      I batch all my errands into one day’s worth of driving or stop on my way from somewhere. I also take the bus into work

      I use a free iPhone app, SmartFuel, to check the gas prices in my area before I fill the tank. Sometimes it surprises me which stations have the lowest price!

      We drive our more fuel-efficient sedan when we can instead of our larger minivan. Try to combine trips as well. Soon we’ll have a “work from home” option so may use that to save ~ 3-4 gallons/week. 🙂

      I save gas by not doing jack rabbit starts and combining several errands into the same trip. I also have my husband to check my air pressure in my tires regularly.

      We haven’t done it yet, but in the next month we will getting a new car that we have better gas mileage, so that is one way that we will be saving gas soon. Lately it has been only using the car for essential trips. Thanks for the chance! 🙂

      Its hard to save gas, we have been so busy… but I try to combine trips out now, make less trips too far from home. When I get gas I always get it at a place that has discounts per gallon – not much, but every bit helps!

      We plan errands to do all in one trip, and my husband takes the vehicle that gets better gas mileage to work, even though he HATES driving a van!

      I save by first, finding the best price in town & stocking up by bringing gas cans & filling them up. Also, I put Lucas Fuel Treatment in my tank after I fill up. It helps your gas mileage.

      My family currently has no income so how we save on gas is simply by not going anywhere! LOL Don’t think there is any other way to save then leaving the car parked.

      I save on gas by combining trips as much as possible. Waiting to go shopping when I am out doing something else and so forth. We also use a grocery store gas rewards card as well.

      We try to find the cheapest station in our area. If we have a coupon, we use those. We also try to combine as many errands as possible into one trip.
