MY THOUGHTS:

There are a few appliances that I really care about, and a refrigerator is definitely one of them.  With the kitchen being the central location of a home plus an appliance that is opened too many times a day to count, a good refrigerator is important.  If I think about it there are days I go without using the stove, microwave, or dishwasher, but never a day that the refrigerator doesn’t get used!

With Amana’s Help Me Choose application it was easy to choose which refrigerator was right for us.  You choose the Style and it gives you compare options for the different models.  I was then able to see the colors available, prices, and most importantly features and dimensions.  The dimensions were super important to us because the space the fridge was being squeezed into was tight to begin with!  The dimensions turned out to be perfect and we weren’t stuck with a fridge too big!

The Amana 19 cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator may look pretty basic but it has so many great features.  The first being a seamless and smooth surface, yep there are no handles on the front of the contour doors but rather on the sides.  Next you can install the doors on the fridge and freezer to open left or right.

Inside the fridge it is an organizer’s dream.  The shelves adjust easily and there are nice compartments on the door itself to accommodate everyday meals.  Whether you are grabbing a soda from the Quench Essentials Door Bin, grabbing a gallon of milk from the Gallon Door Storage, looking in the Deli drawer for lunch essentials or checking out how your fruit and vegetables are doing in the Garden Fresh Crisper Drawers – this fridge is simple but yet has it all.

I am just really impressed overall with how much this 19 cu. Ft. fridge holds and how well it keeps things organized.  It has nice deep bins on the bottom plus tons of door storage and all the spill proof shelves keep messes contained.  The freezer on this fridge seems a lot bigger to me too than our old fridge plus the shelves on the freezer door make putting our freezer essentials easy to find!  I choose this fridge in black and 19 cu. Ft. but it is also available in white and stainless steel as well as a bigger size of 21 cu. Ft.
