ABOUT:
Skintactix has four acne kits designed for different skin types and has been around since 2001. They help clear up all types of acne including cystic, vulargis, rosacea, blackheads, whiteheads, and adult acne. They also feature specially formulated products for Blackhead/Whiteheads and Rosacea.
MY THOUGHTS:
I got the chance to review the Skintactix Acne travel kit A1 which is for Normal or Combination skin. It consists of three bottles:
- Antibacterial Cleanser: Use this product first and use during AM and PM regimen.
- Glycolic Exfoliator Use this product second and use during AM and PM regimen.
- Green Tea Poultice Use this product last and use during AM and PM regimen. You can also use this product as a spot treament to help with inflamation.
I break out regularly and using Skintactix has been great. For me I have only been using it for maybe two weeks now and while it doesn’t work miracles for my skin, it does leave my skin clean. I also haven’t been using it twice a day like it suggests, but then again with three kids I am lucky I get to wash up once a day!
The Antibacterial Cleanser is a lightweight cleaner that lathers lightly and leaves my skin clean and refreshed. The Glycolic Exfoilator is a lightweight cream that I put on after washing my face to create a somewhat acne barrier. Finally the Green Tea Poultice is a thicker cream product that is a spot treatment cream that goes on thick and dries somewhat clear. I have been using the Green Tea Poultice at night.
Skintactix has been gentle on my skin and it is definitely not hurting my skin. I hope after continued use my skin becomes clearer but only time will tell.
BUY IT: Visit Skintactix to check out all their skin care products.
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive a Skintactix Acne trial/travel kit of their choice
(prize will be the smaller travel-size versions)
RAFFLECOPTER ENTRY:
