    I have been buying and selling on eBay off and on for over ten years now.  I have sold stuff on eBay as a somewhat part-time job and I have sold stuff here and there as I come across things.  Right now I have two listings on eBay for two toys I found in the boy’s playroom that I just cleaned out.  One was a brand new video game that was a duplicate that I couldn’t return and the other was a used toy that my boys don’t really play with anymore.  In just a few minutes I had pictures taken and the toys listed on eBay.  I listed for a week and they actually got bids on them right away.  So it took me a few minutes initially to list them and then it will take me a few minutes to package them up and ship them.

    While I am just an occasional eBay user, there are some people that use eBay on a more full-time basis.  There is a couple, Windy and Mark Sibbersen, who use eBay as the family’s second income so Windy could stay home with their kids.  By selling stuff around their own home and then buying discounted items to resell online, they have been able to take family trips and pay for extras for their kids.  They also use the eBay mobile app with their smartphones to price, list and track items they sell on eBay.

      I have a collection of GI Joe dolls from my oldest son (45 years old). We keep saying that we should sell them, I am sure they will bring a good price since they are in very good shape and have all the pieces to go with the outfits. I may start listing them today!

      can I sell my husband? LOL OK seriously I shouldn’t even admit this but I have a ton of beanie babies in my basement. I need to get rid of them and would love to sell them

          At this point I’m fine with .50 a piece to just know they are gone and went to someone who liked them. Honestly I’d donate them to a children’s hospital or something like that but some of the bins got dog hair in them so I don’t want to do that for fear of it causing an issue for someone.

      I’ve tried selling my art on ebay…that didn’t work so well.
      I’ve tried selling baby and kids clothes on ebay…but generally I earn more from consigning it (plus it’s less hastle). Though, I do have some sets of matching items I plan to sell because I hate the thought of them being sold separately (its so hard to find matching clothes in thrift stores and such).

      I’ve done better with selling old movies and games. Right now I only sell on ebay for Charity. I love ebay giving works…makes it really easy and you don’t pay ebay fees when you donate 100%!
