    Did you know that just by drinking the leftover milk from cereal bowls may help kids work towards fulfilling their body’s daily dairy, calcium, and Vitamin D needs?  I had no clue and I will definitely think twice before even I dump my cereal milk!  My kids though don’t think to drink their cereal milk and honestly they are not too coordinated to lift the bowl to sip from it.  Well to help kids all over slurp down their milk, Big G (General Mills) cereals are including Curvy Straws with specially marked boxes of Big G cereal!  They are collectable, connectable Curvy Straws that children of all ages can enjoy mixing and matching to big build Curvy Straws to slurp down their milk.  So not only will kids have fun building their straws but they will also be drinking up milk towards stronger bones and muscles through increased calcium intake.

    Participating Big G cereals include Cinnamon Toast Crunch® (17 oz.), Lucky Charms®(16 oz.), Reese’s® Puffs (18 oz.), Honey Nut Cheerios® (17 oz.), Trix®(14.8 oz)  and Cocoa Puffs® (16.5 oz) and there is a total of six different colorful straws featuring the Big G cereal characters.  Big G cereals are great because they are made with more whole grain than any other ingredient and combined with ½ cup of milk they are a great way to start the day!

    For my family I admit I bribe them where I can.  So if it takes fun bowls, cups, and straws to get them to eat cereal and drink milk then I’ll do it and actually it works everytime!  My boys slurp up their milk and even ask for second bowls of cereal!  I can also feel good that they are starting the day with a good breakfast!

      my kids love lucky charms- well one likes the marshmallows and the other one doesnt- so she gives them to her brother=works out for both of them- i guess
