Do you ever wonder how many pictures you (or your kids) end up in from other’s cameras? Just the other day I was editing our Disney World photos and I guess I never realized how many strangers were in my photos! I usually crop strangers out if I can but its not always possible. It made me wonder how many strangers have me or my family in their photos. Maybe even an unflattering angle of me 🙁 Or a picture of my child in their bathing suit? It is crazy when you think about it and its impossible to avoid, unless you lock your family in the house!
Have you ever thought about that?

I once had a parent ask me to stop taking pictures of my kids on the playground because she didn’t want her kids in the pictures. From then on I’ve thought twice about other people in the pictures, but as it’s unavoidable, I usually just crop them out.

I would politely say I’m sorry but I am taking pics of my kids, if you don’t want yours in them then maybe you should leave. That is crazy! Unless you were specifically taking pics of her kids then there should be no problem.

I’ve fleetingly wondered about that, too. It IS pretty weird thinking about!

I never really have, but that’s kind of a good thought!!

Better yet, one time we found someone we knew in our old family photos, captured back when they were a strangers…trains passing only to meet at a different stop. Life is funny!

Wow that is crazy!
