With school back in session (for most) GapKids is finishing up their Shine on Saturdays events. Select GapKids stores across the country have been hosting free events on Saturdays that feature all sorts of projects to get kids ready for back-to-school and express their creativity! Kids can unleash their inner artist through a series of special art projects by Merilee Liddiard of Mer Mag. The projects were inspired by the GapKids and babyGap fall collection including the best new 1969 denim – Jewel Box Skinnies for girls (the new skinny jean updated in bright stretchy denim) and Action Stretch Denim for boys (designed for play all day made to move.) From creating masterpieces on canvas using paint and tape to custom journals, there is one Saturday left to take advantage of a fun activity for your kids. Saturday August 25th, kids can make an animal character badge at participating Gap stores.
