    ABOUT:

    In the title episode, Marina gets swept up into a windstorm and lands in Oz where she meets Glinda the Good Witch played by Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), befriends a Scarecrow (Twist), a Tin Woods-Woman (Kiki), and a Lion (Shout).  They set off on a journey to find the Wizard of Song (Jason Mraz) so he can help Marina get back home.  In addition, preschoolers can enjoy two bonus episodes from the hit live-action series.

    MY THOUGHTS:
    Honestly, I don’t get The Fresh Beat Band but my kids love them. They are a group of four teens who are friends and all play musical instruments in their band. This new DVD is the first Fresh Beat Band DVD for us and it is perfect for when my kids are itching to watch it but its not on tv. “The Wizard of Song” is the main feature of the DVD, and it is the Wizard of Oz story Fresh Beat style! My kids laughed and laughed as the Fresh Beat band dressed up as a Tin Man, Lion, and Scarecrow! There is lots of fun music and dancing, perfect to get your kids excited about. There are lessons of course for kids such as working together and don’t be afraid! Oh and I at least was excited about Jason Mraz being the Wizard of Song.

    After the main feature, there are two more episodes: Ghost Band and Chimps in Charge. Both are cute tv episodes that make the DVD a total of 88 minutes of Fresh Beat fun!

      My granddaughter loves all music, she particularly likes the guitar. Her dad plays and she has her own that she tries to emulate him.

      We love the Fresh Beat Band but I haven’t seen this episode yet! Can’t wait to see them in concert. Yes, I’m excited! :o)

      My daughter has a music toy that was given to her by a friend of mine and she loves all the instruments that came with it (they are all ladybug themed) but she especially loves the drum!
