Santa’s Village is an amusement park that I remember from my childhood and I couldn’t wait to take my own kids to someday. After being closed for five years, Santa’s Village is back with new rides and attractions (as of last year.) With my kids being 5, 4, and 1, we had a blast there this past weekend! The big differnce now is that Santa’s Village now has animal attractions, hence them being called now “Santa’s Village Azoosment Park!”
My review in pictures:
Overall, my family had a blast! My husband and I relived our childhoods there, mine especially with the tree house and slide, my husband was sad the Christmas Tree ride was gone. My 1 year old was able to go on most of the rides with me of course and she enjoyed the animals, while my boys were able to ride everything (they did need an adult co-passenger for the Dragon Coaster.) I’d say the park would be good to may 10 years old, then the child might be a little too big for the rides, although I guess it depends on their height and if your bringing younger siblings with. The size was small with about 15 rides that we rode multiple times and animals scattered throughout the park, but it wasn’t too big they got lost or crowded that it was overwhelming. It is a nice park to visit to actually enjoy without crowds or searching for appropriate rides. We will definitely be going back! The park just re-opened last year so there is definitely room for improvement but I think they are doing great so far! Oh and you can bring in outside food and enjoy on picnic tables inside to save money but I thought their prices were reasonable.
VISIT: Check out the Santa’s Village website to hours, directions, and Special Hours! Yes they are open through October for their Harvest Festival and even a Haunted House “Nightmare from North Street.”
Mom and More Disclosure: I was sent complimentary tickets for my family to review Santa’s Village in exchange for sharing my honest opinion. Please see my Disclosure Policy.

Oh wow! I’ve vaguely heard about this place, but never really knew about it-I just thought it was something revolving around Christmas. I had no idea it had rides or a zoo or anything like that!
I kind of want to go there now ^.^

Oh it was my favorite when I was little – we went all the time. Then it closed for the last 5 years and just re-opened last year. Lots of memories for me!

Love, love, love that they’re open again. I took my kids there and I remember hearing the commercials on tv my entire childhood! I never got to go until I had my own kids and lived in Schaumburg, which was pretty darn close to the park.
