My boys love a challenge and are constantly on the go. The Never Land Challenge from Wonder Forge is a great game for kids to have their own pirates Olympics!
Join Jake and the Never Land Pirates for a high-spirited adventure! Grab your pirate gear and crawl, tiptoe, and jump through the vine archways to earn gold doubloons. Each turn offers a chance to prove your playful pirate skills, whether it’s tucking the cannonball under your chin or balancing Jake’s sword on your head. Collect more coins than Captain Hook to win! Ages 3+ 1 or more players
Promotes:
- Self-confidence and self-discovery
- Active, up-on-your-feet fun
- Early reading skills
Setting up the game definitely requires an adult as the green bar set-up has to be set at the right point for it to stand up straight. It definitely could be constructed a little better, maybe weighted supports? I just feel like my boys are constantly bumping into it and then I have to re-set it. The game itself though is easy to play and understand. You pick two cards and have to follow those directions, if you succeed you get two gold doubloons, if not Hook gets them. Once the “Game Over” card has be turned over three times, the game is over and either Hook wins or you win (as a team.) The challenges are fun and silly and my boys laugh every time. I would recommend this if you are looking for a game to get your kids moving around.
BUY IT: Never Land Challenge can be purchased for a suggested retail price of $19.99 at your local mass retailer, including Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, Amazon, Kohl’s and more.
