    My boys love their Transformers and they also love to build.  This set not only features Transformers but it is a building set featuring their favorite Transformer:  Optimus Prime!

The 379 pieces in this awesome Battle for Energon set let you build an Optimus Prime figure as a powerful robot or as a semi truck, and a menacing Megatron figure as a robot or tank. This 4-in-1 set also includes Optimus Prime, Megatron, Security Officer and Tank Driver Kreon figures. Arm them with their weapons and build the Bank building for them to fight over. Who will prevail when Autobot takes on Decepticon? Build your Transformers adventures, then tear them down to build new ones.

    It is a battle of good versus bad with the two leaders in a showdown in front of a small bank.  Both characters transform between a robot or truck, but yes you actually have to take apart and re-build them to what you want.  My boys were a little disappointed when they realized they couldn’t transform them by moving their arms and legs, but they were excited to have more to build.  The instructions are visual (no words) and pretty easy to follow, you just have to be careful not to miss a step.  There are a total of 379 pieces, including four minifigures which my boys love on their own.  I feel like you do get a lot of pieces for your money and it was a hit with my boys (4 and 5.) I will admit we haven’t finished putting this whole set together put so far its coming together nicely.  This is a great set on its own or combine with the other KRE-O building sets.  It is also compatible with other brick building sets (like LEGOs.)

      All my grandies love Transformers… the girls more than the boys…LOL.. this is a toy that keeps them well entertained

      My 6 year old son is a huge fan. I got him the KRE-O bumblebee set for Christmas, so this would be a great addition to it!
