I recently stopped going to this fancy salon to get my hair done to cut down on our spending. I was spending upwards of $150 every 3-4 months and even though I needed that “me” time at the salon, I found other ways I could get it. I ended up finding another salon where a friend works and I could get the same haircut and coloring for around $80. With my $70+ in savings I decided to splurge on good shampoo and conditioner. Now I wasn’t going to go crazy and buy super expensive hair products but I still wanted the high quality of them.
Vidal Sassoon Pro Series is a line that I assumed, like so many others, to be more expensive than it was. Vidal Sassoon has collections for all hair types and issues, and after trying the Pro Series Moisture line I am impressed. The Moisture line cleanses and moisturizes your hair to prevent dry or damaged hair. The line moisturizes hair for that soft and silky feel you get at the salon! With this winter especially my hair has been dry and scraggly feeling, it also probably doesn’t help that I am constantly dying my hair. I love that I can get that fresh and soft feeling that I used to get when I went to a fancy salon. I can’t even describe how soft my hair feels other than to say I love it. With other products my hair of course feels clean but its usually that squeaky and dried out clean. For just a few dollars I can give my hair that spa feeling every time I shower, and for a busy mom of three it is a few minutes of heaven for me! Now I can’t say how this line is different or if its improved from other Vidal Sassoon products but this one works for me.
Overall, Would I buy the new line Vidal Sassoon Pro Series? Yes I would. I like the way my hair feels afterwards. I love the fresh soapy smell. And I love how my hair isn’t like a birds nest any more. My husband even noticed that my hair was softer, which is a huge plus as he usually doesn’t notice stuff like that. Oh and the other plus is that I can buy this at Kroger stores while I am buying my groceries! No special trips to the salon to buy expensive products. In addition to the Moisture Lock Shampoo and Conditioner, there is also a Moisture Lock One Minute Mask for hair that I am going to get next to use as a weekly deep conditioning.
Great hair doesn’t have to cost a fortune. At Kroger, you can achieve salon-inspired results, brilliantly priced, when you purchased new Vidal Sassoon Pro Series hair products. Download coupons for the already affordable products, now through March 2. Happy shopping (and shampooing)!

I’m DEFINITELY not girly when it comes to my hair; I don’t spend hours doing it or spend lots of money maintaining it…speaking of which, I REALLY need to get a hair cut. But I digress. The one thing I really WOULD love when it comes to my hair though is a quality shampoo and conditioner. I have yet to find one that agrees with my hair and that doesn’t leave it greasy and frizzy the next day o.O
Great review!

Thanks! Yeah I hate the frizzy feeling the next day.
