    Purex Plus Fabric Softener {Review}

    I admit there are days that I am lucky I got the laundry actually in the machine with detergent, let alone remembering to add fabric softener.  I am usually running into the laundry room, throwing clothes in and then running out to do something else.  It doesn’t help that my laundry room is very small and cramped, so I don’t want to spend any extra time in there that I have to.

    I do though love the smell of fabric softener and wish I could remember to use it on every load.  Luckily Purex has come out with a new  detergent called Purex Plus Fabric Softener.  It has the strength of Purex but with the added crystal freshness of Purex Crystals.  The detergent is loaded with Purex Crystals fragrance to give your clothes that long-lasting freshness you want!  It is still suggested to use fabric softener but at least with this detergent I get a little fragrance on our clothes.  Purex didn’t leave us hanging either, the New Purex Plus Fabric Softener detergent still has the DirtLift Action stain fighting abilities.  Purex actually reformulated their detergent for 2013 to all have the power of DirtLift Action, which works deep into clothes to penetrate the dirt and stains!

    Basically its like regular Purex but combined with Purex Crystals (I am showing Purex Crystals for Baby only because that is the only one I had on hand and to show as an example)

    Purex is a brand I love overall.  It is affordable, convenient to buy, and a brand I trust.  They don’t raise their prices either like crazy.  For example, the New Purex Plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance could save a family $45 a year if they use that over other brands.  Oh and their detergents are for both traditional and HE washing machines so no excuses not to check out Purex!

      My favorite scent for body products is grapefruit but I prefer my laundry detergent unscented. I like scented fabric softener, usually something light and floral.

      My favorite all-time scent is either vanilla or lime. But for detergent, I love Purex’s Mountain Breeze scent

      My favorite scent is just fresh, it’s hard to explain but I just like my detergent to have the fresh scent. But if I could invent a detergent, I’d want it to smell like roses, love roses

      I’ve never used any of Purex’s scented products so I don’t have a favorite of theirs. The Lavendar Blossom Purex Crystals sound like they’d smell good. I tend to like citrus scented products in general.

      For laundry… I love lavendar scents! I always buy the After the Rain Purex though. In general I love fruity scents… and gardenia and sweet pea lol.

      My favorite scent is lilac or honeysuckle. My favorite Purex Crystals scent is the baby scent. It’s awesome
