    Family Dinner at Medieval Times

    One of my favorite places in Chicagoland has become Medieval Times, and I love it because it makes my kids smile. We have been there a few times with them now and it really is a great price for what you get (read my review on the new show).

    We love Medieval Times as a family, from walking around before the show and enjoying the inside of the castle to the show and meal, everything is great.  It is recommended to arrive 75 minutes early but we usually get there about 45 minutes early and don’t have a problem.

    One the show starts, your server comes and immediately starts bringing your drinks and food.  You start off with soup and garlic bread, then a huge piece of chicken, barbecued ribs, baked potato and you end with a dessert.  Oh and did I mention you don’t get any silverware!

    Our section was the Red Knight, each section having a knight they cheer for. Our knight ending up winning which was extra exciting. The whole show though was packed with action from sword fighting to knight challenges to a bird soaring around the arena. The show can be pricey for a family, but there are always coupons or specials out there if you look for them! When you think about it that you get dinner and a show, it is reasonable.  If you can’t go just because, it does make for an extra special birthday dinner!

    BUY IT:  You can purchase tickets for Medieval Times for $59.95 for an adult and $35.95 for children 12 and under. Don’t forget to check for coupons though!

      I would love to see my little girls face. I remember going once as a kid and loved it. this just isn’t in the budget to be able to do!

      We have been once and loved it! My son was 3 at the time and loved all the horses! We also liked walking around after the show 🙂

      i’m not going to lie, i’ve been several times. Probably not for 8 or 9 years, but i used to love going there (and still would like to – its just not in my budget right now). therefore, I would love winning the tickets!

      I went to medieval times when I was like 10… I loved it best experience ever but my boyfriend has never been there and he has to experience this but were both college students so we cant afford tickets. and I would love to bring my little sister (8) and boyfriends nephew (5) they have never been there either

      My family and I haven’t been to Medieval Times. We have been talking about going, maybe taking my son for his birthday or going for some other special occasion. It sounds like a great time and I think it is something that we would all enjoy…even my husband, and he is a bit hard to please! 🙂 Money has been extra super tight, so going to Medieval Times has not been an option, even with coupons. I would love to win this giveaway so that we can experience the fun, food and family time!
