    EPIC Now In Theaters! #EpicTheMovie

    In case you haven’t seen the commercials a new animated movie called EPIC that arrived in theaters on May 24th.  I know my kids are begging to see it, and honestly I wouldn’t mind either!  It is narrated by an awesome lineup of actors and it is from the creators of some of our other favorite movies!

    EPIC has it all – Samurai-like action and warriors, incredible aerial battles, laugh out loud humor and an adventure that will transport you to a hidden, rich and beautiful world, unlike any you’ve seen before.

    The 3D CG adventure comedy hits theaters on May 24! From the creators of ICE AGE and RIO, EPIC tells the story of an ongoing battle between the forces of good, who keep the natural world alive, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it. When a teenage girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she teams up with an elite band of warriors and a crew of comical, larger-than-life figures, to save their world…and ours.

    EPIC features an incredible cast including: BEYONCÉ KNOWLES, COLIN FARRELL AMANDA SEYFRIED, AZIZ ANSARI, PITBULL, STEVEN TYLER, JOSH HUTCHERSON, CHRIS O’DOWD, CHRISTOPH WALTZ and JASON SUDEIKIS.

    To celebrate the new movie, McDonalds is now featuring EPIC toys in their Happy Meals!  There are six all-new EPIC Happy Meal toys available.  We actually got one today at our McDonalds and its actually pretty cool, its two scoops and a ball to play with a friend!

      I have heard about it the moment the toys hit MCD! We just saw it Monday with our kids. They were super excited to watch all the bugs, birds, and action.

      I took the kids to see it over the weekend, they loved it! The slug and snail were so funny and the ending was great! We loved who the pod gave it’s powers to.

      I have heard of it but I think we will wait to see it when it comes out on DVD. I know my kids want to see it but I am not that interested in it like I am in other kids movies. I have heard bad reviews about the age appropriate content for in the movie, story line wise.
