    Every since my kids were little they have all been fascinated with water.  So during the summer we do lots of water activities.  Whether it be playing with the water table, the sprinklers squirt guns or swimming at grandmas, water is pretty much a daily activity.  To keep them from getting bored, I am constantly looking for new toys for their water play and Twisty Droppers from Learning Resources has been their new favorite toy.

    The set of Twisty Droppers comes with four colorful droppers that are perfect for fine motor skills.  Kids have to squeeze them to squirt and doing so they are working on their hand muscles and are great for science experiments.  My 2 year old Olivia loves these little droppers or actually big droppers as they are actually pretty big for her small hands.  Since there are four of them, all of my kids can each have one and there is no fighting.  Lately we have been using these droppers outside but its only a matter of time before they work their way into the kids bathtub.  The kids love watching the water flow through the twisty tubes and squeezing them to fill and empty them.  So it teaches cause and effect too, which I will be using some food coloring drops next to show how the water and colors can flow.
    Overall, the Twisty Droppers are the perfect toy for any child to both learn from and play with.  My kids (6, 5, and 2) have spent more time with these so far than I would have expected.

      I have several Learning Resources items. I love them. I especially love the organizers they have like the drop down pockets where I can hang and store books.
