    Mega Bloks is a brand that constantly surprises me with their products.  They are a company that is constantly adding products to their line featuring the newest trends and characters.  From superheroes to John Deere to even Halo, they have something that would appeal to every child.

    Well Mega Bloks didn’t leave girls out (not that I am stereotyping this as only a girl product) and has a whole bunch of Barbie Mega Bloks products!  The newest one is the Mega Bloks Barbie® Build ‘n Play Super Star Stage which I admit I couldn’t wait to play with.

    Now even though my daughter is only 2 years old, she knows what blocks are and is always trying to help her brothers build.  While this set is recommended for ages 5 and up (obviously because of choking hazards) I let my daughter play with it with my supervision and she had a blast.  The neighbor girls who basically live at our house loved have “girl” blocks they could play with!  My boys (5 and 6) actually begged me to let them put it together.  Then my 6 year old took the stage piece that plays music and played the songs over and over!  While I wouldn’t buy this for a boy, boys certainly can have fun playing with it and building it, they just won’t admit it in front of their friends!

    This is an adorable set that once together is a perfect little Barbie stage.  It is a perfect set for any child who loves Barbie and building!  I will say though putting it together wasn’t the easiest and my husband did struggle snapping the little pieces together.  Once together you do have to be a little careful as it is not the sturdiest when you make it with the design suggested, I think a different design could be sturdier.  That is whats nice though is your child can create whatever they want!  They can build and then build again.  The music part though is adorable and really makes the set unique!
