    Celebrating with Kentucky Legend Ham {Review}

    I once thought all hams are equal, that was until I tried the Double Smoked Kentucky Legend Ham.  I am not the only one either who has fallen for the delicious taste of Kentucky Legend as it has been brought to the table for more than 100 years.  Each ham is hand-selected and trimmed, then slow-cooked in its own natural juices.  Yes, its cooked already so at home all you have to do is warm it!  I love ham because it’s so easy and with three kids and a million of dishes I am usually making, I need a meat I can depend to taste good and cook easily.  Kentucky Legend also uses their famous brown sugar cure and smoking process to ensure that your ham at home is sure to taste delicious.

    I made the Kentucky Legend Double Smoked Ham for Thanksgiving, in addition to a turkey of course, and it was honestly amazing.  Like I said, I had thought a ham is a ham, but from now on my family has requested Kentucky Legend. Yes even my kids have noticed a difference and ask for it by name. Who knew kids could be ham snobs!  It’s hard to describe of course its amazingness, but here are some pictures to make your mouth water!

      Yes we buy for Christmas also. But the last two were to salty. We buy Kentucky Legion for sandwiches also one every two weeks. The last two were very salty and was slick on each slice. we could not eat.

      last two sliced hams we got were two salty. could not eat. baked honey smoked. we used to by them every week. Now we will not. what happened.

      Now that there is just my husband and I, we only have baked ham on Holidays when everyone returns home. However, as an experiment, I noticed a small three pound ham with the label Kentucky Legend. I decided to give it a try. That was a few months ago. It is so good, that I can now cook this delicious ham any time. What a surprise. I had been spending about $30 on a famous brand ham for the holidays, but from now on, I’ll buy two big Kentucky Legend hams. They’re good right to the very end. That’s a lot more ham than one usually gets in the big brand names. I am seriously delighted that I discovered this phenomenal ham. Thanks Kentucky Legend.

      I have been buying Kentucky Legend hams for at least 15 years, have always loved them and recommended to everyone. However this year the two I purchased for Easter were a little fatty and not as flavorful, I was a little disappointed. Just wanted to let you know. Still the best hams.

      I will never buy any other brand of ham for any occasion. I have been buying Kentucky legend since the first time I tasted it 5 years ago. My whole family drool’s just thinking about any family get together that may include ham. This is by far the “best ham ever”. We have a very large family too.
      We do not care about the price difference or anything. If ham is on the menu…. Kentucky legend is what we get. I am 59 years old and have eaten ham many times in my life, but if you want the best ham, try any variation of on of these. I promise you will not regret it.

      I first tried to Kentucky legend and at Christmas time. It is one of the very best hams I have ever had in my life. Since then we buy two a week best ham ever so delicious

      My mom always cooks a ham. She puts brown sugar and pineapple on it. It always tastes so good. I’m a ham eater since I don’t like turkey. Thank you 🙂

      I love my ham just plain, I really do not care for brown sugar and pineapples on it. I eat it fried with breakfast, on a sandwich or with mashed potatoes and gravy. I love ham.

      I love ham with pineapple, but rarely eat pork anymore ….. I would gift this to my daughter’s family, it would make their Christmas!

      I like my ham when I cook it in Ginger Ale.

      Once cooked, I slice it thin so that I can make sandwiches with it:

      Ham
      Bacon
      Mayo
      Bacon
      Mustard
      Bacon
      Lettuce
      Bacon
      More Mayo, and, oh,…
      Bacon!!!

      I love my have a little sweet I love it on a sandwich, with eggs & taters, I LOVE HAM every way ham is my favorite meat.

      I like to bake it in the oven in a can of cola and the last half hour or so add a brown sugar glaze, pineapples and cherries

      We usually do a glaze with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pineapple. My favorite is eating it in sandwiches later.

      I like it with Brown sugar glaze on it. I usually make mine in the crockpot using the Coca-cola Ham recipe.

      i love baked ham and all the fixings,but i really love few days later just fry it up and put it on a roll or bread! very yummy!

      I like to baste my Ham in Brown Sugar, Spicy Brown Mustard, CoCa Cola, and a Brown Paper Bag to Keep it tender and juicy all while it cooks except for last 30minutes . Then I like it to just Brown slowly in oven. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!

      I know this may sound strange, but I really like my ham baked plain. I love ham with glazes and such, but just plain ham that is plump and juicy, is by far my favorite!

      I like my ham baked slowly with a glaze or brown sugar coating. Yummy! And I do love using the leftover ham in a million ways!

      I like out ham sweet… – I put some sugar and pineapple juice and marinade it there for a while before baking it. I always love frying some of the slices

      I like to cover my ham with a mixture orange juice, brown sugar and a little maple syrup, then cover it with foil and slow cook it.

      I like to glaze mine with pineapple, brown sugar and a bit of mustard. Your ham looks really good> Just gave me an idea. I think I’ll head to the kitchen now for a nice ham sandwich!

      I love honey baked ham, for holidays and general everyday eating I like to cook up a slice of ham in frying pan with bar b que sauce, it is yummy

      We like to just warm it gently in a low oven and then serve it with yellow grits! The next day, we have ham and eggs for breakfast and ham sandwiches for lunch/dinner. Thanks for such a nice and yummy giveaway! Happy Holidays 🙂

      I never met a ham I didn’t like. I’ll take it anyway I can get it – grilled, baked, on rye with mustard and swiss – all yummy!
