    An Interview With Sochi Winter Olympics Free-skier David Wise

    With the Sochi Winter Olympics right around the corner, free-skier David Wise has a few things to be excited about.  Not only is this his first winter games and a top athlete in the sport making its Olympic debut, but he is more importantly a dad to 2-year-old Nayeli.  As he is working on making his own dreams come true, he is also helping Nayeli reach her own full potential.  So how does David prepare for the Olympics and parent Nayeli at the same time?  Luckily David took some time to answer some questions in an interview sponsored by Pampers.

    David also announced an exciting new sweepstakes, “Pampers Game Face”, which will begin February 3rd.  It gives parents the chance to upload their baby’s best “game face” to the Pampers Facebook page to create shareable custom memes (viral internet photo or video) for a chance to win an exciting grand prize!

      My favorite winter sport to watch is figure skating. I use to love to skate but now I prefer to stay inside when it is cold.

      My favorite Olympic sport is hockey. It is fun to watch players from different NHL teams play with one another on their home countries Olympic team.

      I have always been fascinated watching Bobsledding and Olympic speed Skating. Watching the speeds that these athletes go down hills and around a skating track are awe inspiring since they can go as fast as a car in some instances.

      I love the figure skating and gymnastics, the diving frustrates me since I can’t figure out WHY they scored something usually.

      I end up liking all of the iwnter sports by the time that the Winterr Olympiccs are over but my faovirtes would have to be ice skating (singles) and the extreme skiing events!

      basketball – that’s a winter sport, right? Or do you mean like an outdoor snow sport? In that case, I choose bobsledding. 🙂
