First off I should say this recipe is for 2 cakes as honestly 1 was not enough for us! If you only want to make one, then just halve the ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 jar warmed hot fudge ice cream topping
- 1½ tubs (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
- 1½ pkgs. JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding (I used Vanilla) (I used the bigger package, but I’m not sure it matters)
- 10 OREO Cookies, crushed
- About 16 vanilla ice cream sandwiches
- Parchment or Freezer paper
- 8½-by-4½-inch loaf pan
Directions:
- Line your loaf pan with a piece of parchment/freezer paper (so it doesn’t stick and is easily lifted out), allowing the paper to hang over both long sides.
- Pour fudge topping into medium bowl and whisk in 1 tub cool whip and dry pudding mix.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of the chopped cookies.
- Arrange ice cream sandwiches on top of the parchment paper. Cut the sandwiches if you need to so they fit nicely on the bottom.
- Spread half the COOL WHIP/Hot fudge/Oreo mixture on top of the sandwiches.
- Repeat layers until you’ve reached the top.
- Frost top with remaining COOL WHIP and add any remaining cookies.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
