This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kmart Share the Word. All opinions are 100% mine.
Money is something that is a problem most of us face at one point or another. From living paycheck to paycheck to struggling with no paycheck at all, money is something we all need but many don't know how to handle it. I have always been someone who is good with money and managing my bills, but there are still times when I think that if I would have budgeted better I would be in a better situation.
Kmart has teamed up with Glinda Bridgforth, author of "Girl, Get Your Money Straight!", to create a free downloadable family finance e-guide. The guide was designed to help others with money issues they may be facing and includes family budget and savings advice as well as helpful money tips. The author hopes that readers will empower themselves as well as their friends and family.
The new partnership between Kmart and Glinda Bridforth is part of the Share the Word Financial Empowerment platform which was created to honor African-American legacy and provide valuable resources to enhance the lives of Kmart customers. The first step to becoming a Kmart Smart and financially savvy shopper is to download the guide created. I think it is awesome of Kmart to take this initiative because we could all use some tips of money saving and budgeting, I know I am now curious about the guide!
What are your own money tips? Do you create a budget plan that you follow? Do you use cash only? I honestly don't do either, but I do check our account daily and I always have a running total in my head of what our spending money is. Gone are the days of me budgeting via my checkbook register but thanks to my bank's smartphone app, my account balance is always just a click away.
