Ingredients:
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces cream cheese (I used Neufchatel cream cheese, which is basically low fat cream cheese)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 jar caramel ice cream topping (or about 3/4 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, caramel topping and vanilla. Mix it good until smooth. Serve with apples for dipping.
Notes: I am seriously addicted to this. I can’t even go back to plain caramel dip for apples as the cream cheese makes it so creamy and smooth!

Also, I have read on the internet somewhere that placing a can of sweetened condensed milk in a crockpot and adding water to submerge the unopened can, cook 8 hours on low would make caramel sauce.

I love this stuff. Only on Granny Smith apples. The sweet and tartness work well together.
