Disclosure: I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Last week I posted about the Anna Boiardi 12-piece Cookware Set that I absolutely love and now I have another product from the new Anna Boiardi line that rocks! Well it steams actually as its the 4-Piece Fast Cooker Set.
4-Piece Fast Cooker Set
Set includes: 5.5-qt. fast cooker, stainless steel lid with glass viewing window, tempered glass lid, 11″ solid silicone spoon, plus recipe booklet
What do I love about the set?
- Tempered glass lid with knob design to hold spoon on top
- Durable aluminum construction for long lasting in the kitchen
- Nonstick cooking surface for easy food release and cleanup
- Double-riveted handles for easy handling
- For use with all stove types
So basically the Anna Boiardi 4-Piece Cookware Set is a pan that allows you to cook food faster than conventional cookware. It is not a separate system, but rather its a regular pan that has a lid to keep the pressure in, but in a safe manner that its not going to explode! You can even open the lid while cooking to add ingredients without the danger of burning yourself from steam. There are actually two valves to control the internal pressure and a fail-safe system to ensure proper closure of the lid. The lid is glass so you can see-thru to your food, which I like since then I won’t open it as much! You can actually cook anything you’d normally cook on the stove, but in less time with the Fast Cooker.
I love the Fast Cooker and while I have only used it a few times, I forsee using it many times in the future especially during the winter. You can really cook a whole meal in one pot with this cooker. I think soup will be fabulous in this cooker, of course when its not so hot outside. The Fast Cooker is safe on electric stoves, gas stoves, ceramic smoothtop and induction safe.
I love the included recipe booklet with recipes and cooking times in it. You really can cook anything in this thing, including rice, beans, vegetables, chicken, corn beef, pot roast, and seafood, just to name a few.
I cooked Sausage and Peppers which usually when I cook it, I have to baby it so it doesn’t burn. All I had to do pretty much is chop everything up and then put it in the Fast Cooker on the stove. My husband was happy and I was thrilled I didn’t have to stand in the kitchen cooking it!
