First off I will say, this game kicked my butt! I had never done Zumba before and honestly didn’t know what to expect, but definitely I didn’t think it was that hard. Its just dancing right, how can it be hard, I thought. Well the dancing is non-stop and it keeps you moving. Its fun though and honestly I don’t mind doing it. I have been looking for a way to workout inside my house and this is it. Even my kids jumped in and were trying to dance along.
The game has different levels and ways to play, including touring the music of different countries, taking a class, learning dance moves or just dancing! The music is all different which was refreshing, there is dance music from other countries as well as music from the United States. You can dance with celeb instructors or even play with friends in four player mode! Seriously there is a lot jammed into this game.
I was surprised to see how it tells me my calories burned, which is estimated but I like to think its correct. How does it know that? Well you wear the included belt, which your Wii controller goes inside. As you move, the controller registers your movements and that is how calories are tracked and points are earned. I will say though I am so glad I did this Zumba at home through this game rather than taking a class, yes I am apparently that uncoordinated.
I definitely see my myself using this game regularly and its a lot cheaper than taking Zumba classes. Who knows maybe I’ll not only loose some calories but also learn some dance moves!
BUY IT: You can buy “Zumba Fitness World Party” for Nintendo Wii on Amazon currently for $34.52 or wherever games are sold.

Thanks for your review. It was insightful. Looking at getting game as something to do at home.
