Cleaning kitchen counters should be easy, right? Just grab a damp rag and wipe them down? Well let me say that my granite counters are not 1-2-3 and they need extra TLC. For the price of granite you better believe too that I try to take care of them. So I often buy special cleaners just for my granite. I have tried many cleaners and while they all eventually do the job, that’s all they do. I usually have to use a seperate cleaner and then a polisher on my counters and honestly I get lazy and am lucky if I can clean them properly. I feel like there is always stuff on my counters but I am resolving to keep them clean and not cluttered!
The other problem I face with cleaners is I worry if they are nonabrasive and safe for food prep. Well Rock-it Oil has come to my rescue. I had never heard of the brand Rock-it Oil before and it was up high on the shelf at Home Depot, but boy am I glad I gave them a try.
Here is a Before and After of my counters, its hard to capture just how gross they were before since they are black and the lighting in my kitchen is not the greatest but there is a definite difference. From the appearance to the smooth feeling of my counters, I love them cleaned with Rock-it Oil Stone Cleaner.

So what makes Rock-it Oil Stone cleaner so awesome?
- It cleans deep down, not just the surface, all the dirt, grease and stains
- Polishes without streaking – yes it polishes and cleans!
- Does not leave a residue behind
- Does not affect sealers
- Biodegradable and Environmentally friendly
- Food prep surface safe
- Works great for polished granite, marble, soap stone, slate, polished concrete and other water-tolerant counter surfaces
I honestly love how tough Rock-it Oil Stone is on my counter dirt and stains but that it is still gentle and safe. It also uses a foam to clean the counters rather than a spray, which is what other cleaners usually use. The foam makes it really work the dirt and stains!
