Shopkins Supermarket Playset {Review}

My daughter loves little toys and shopping.  She has been playing with her brother’s little Trash Pack figures lately and I figured she’d like something a little less disgusting.  Well luckily there are Shopkins which are adorable little figures perfect for any little girl (or boy!)

What are Shopkins?

Shopkins are little collectible figures that are grocery-themed.  You can buy just the figures or the playsets.

I got the chance to review the Shopkins Supermarket Playset and my 3 year old was so excited to try it out. With the playset you get the playset and two figures.

The Shopkins Supermarket Playset features two pieces that my daughter absolutely loves, a checkout scanner and a shopping cart.  The figures can be displayed on shelves, slide down a slide, go through a door or pretend scanned.  You can even turn the scanner so the pieces move down the conveyor belt.  Its kid-powered which is nice, so no batteries required.  The set is also ready to be played with right out of the box, nothing to put together.

The playset is adorable but I’d say definitely pick up more Shopkins as your child will get bored of just two of them.  With more Shopkins though the playset will definitely keep your child busy and give them lots of ways for creative play.  My daughter loves shopping for groceries and bagging them with her little Shopkins figures.

I would recommend this playset for any child as a gift, just keep in mind some extra Shopkins would be nice as well.
