Disclosure: I received products to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
I don’t know about you but shopping for beauty products can be pretty overwhelming, especially now that I am getting older. So many products seem to make these huge promises and statements that you need them to fix something about yourself. As a woman I am finally comfortable in my skin and I know I’m stuck with it and rather than fixing it I am happy to just improve it.
Well a new skincare line called Don’t Call Me Ma’am has launched to ensure women can achieve healthy skin that they don’t need to worry about. The line is called Don’t Call Me Ma’am as a joke on how Ma’am is a label from back in the day that is no longer used. Skincare needs have changed and women should be able to embrace the skin their in!
The Don’t Call Me Ma’am consists of eleven products for the face and body that have been created with ingredients that are good for you (no parabens, sulfates or harsh chemicals), packaging that is good for the earth (it’s 100% recyclable) and attitude that is good for the soul.
I got the chance to check out three of the Don’t Call Me Ma’am products: Wash It Away Cleanser, In Balance Toner and Face love Moisturizer. The products are all safe and never tested on animals.

Face love Moisturizer

- 4 oz./118ml Tube
- Use in the Morning
- Use after Wash It Away Cleanser, In Balance Toner and your choice of serum.
Notable Ingredients: DCMM Botanical Blend, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil, Jojoba Oil, Aloe Barbedensis (Aloe Vera) Extract, Tocopherol (natural Vitamin E), Panthenol
After using the Don’t Call Me Ma’am products my skin feels so soft and clean. It didn’t get a burning feeling from the cleansers like I have from other cleansers, probably due to the natural ingredients rather than harsh chemicals. The cleanser is a thick cream that you are really able to lather and wash your face. There is no scent to it so its great whether you like scented products or not. Next up I used the Toner which is a spray you spray on your face to give it a refreshed feeling and smooth out your skin. It is designed to balance out your skin and help with any redness you may get.
Finally there is the Moisturizer which is a must for me now especially with this crazy Chicago weather. My face gets so dry in the cold that I need a good moisturizer. It is a thick cream that you can really feel moisturizing your face. I admit in the past I have slacked with my facial care but with Don’t Call Me Ma’am I admit I love using them and how my face feels afterwards. As I get older my skin definitely needs all the help it can get and Don’t Call Me Ma’am have become products I enjoy using and I would recommend the line.
