    When I had my first child I remember everyone sharing their opinions with me on how to take care of a baby.  The problem though was things have changed since so many of my family members have had children that the American Academy of Pediatrics have changed their suggestions.  Like how car seats have evolved, heck my mom says she came home form the hospital just laying on the seat of my grandparent’s car!  Or there was the putting your child to sleep on the back or belly, which my mom insisted on belly so my son couldn’t choke if he threw up but the recent recommendation was on the baby’s back.

    Another thing that has changed is allowing blankets and bedding in the crib with children.  I had so many family members that argued with me that my son would be cold without a blanket but according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, soft bedding actually increases the risk of suffocation or sudden infant death syndrome. So I just bundled up my son for bedtime and then did the same for my other two children.

    Well the price can be a little surprising at first but then after thinking about to me it is a well worth it investment.  This is a product that will keep your child safe, warm and honestly provide you with some relief due to its safety offers and ease of use.  So yes the moon cocoon is $125 for one, but it is also a product that your child can use from 6 months old and up, basically as long as they still want to carry around their super-soft blanket.  My kids never got attached to a blanket but my oldest son’s best friend actually brings his ragged baby blanket over still when he spends the night.  I could definialtey see a child wanting to hold onto the moon cocoon as a blanket as long as they possibly can because of how soft it is.  I actually wish it came in adult sizes or even just as a blanket because it truly is that soft.

    Honestly I love this product and highly recommend it to moms.  Like I said I know it seems expensive at first glance but with all the years you can get out of it, it is worth it. The moon cocoon is the one product that will be with your child every night keeping them safe and warm, to me those are two things I would pay anything for.

      Anything that grows with the child through the years like this is awesome! It always brought tears to my eyes having to give away my children’s out grown items, seeing how expensive things are and how fast kids grow. The items seemed like they had hardly been used. This would actually have time to be used for a good long time before being outgrown! ♥
