Disclosure: I received this car for one week to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
My first thought when I think of Kia is a small SUV. I honestly had no clue there were Kia minivans available! Well after driving around the 2015 Kia Sedona for a week I will say I am impressed! The Kia Sedona I drove was pretty much fully loaded so that did help but regardless the ride itself was smooth and perfect for my family of five. It is a regular sized 6-speed minivan that seats seven passengers.
Features I love:
- Dual sunroofs
- Lots of airbags
- Lower anchors and tethers for car seats (LATCH system)
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) – flat tires freak me out so this is perfect to keep me in check with how my tires are doing
- Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control – great to keep the kids in the back hot or cold.
- UVO eServices w/Premium Navi & Back-Up Camera
- SIRIUSXM Satellite Radio w/3 month subscription included
- Leather seats – makes it easy to wipe them down after the kids are in there!
- Lots of USB outlets
- Center console mounted 110V Power Inverter
- Fold-in-the floor 3rd seats – this is great for when I needed extra room in the trunk
- Smart power tailgate
- Heated/Cooled Front seats
- Lane departure warning system
- Forward collision warning system
Overall, like I said the Kia Sedona has impressed me. It has features I have never used before in a car and have really helped me this week driving around.
The push button remote that opens the doors and trunk have been a great extra hand!
Heated seats and steering wheel:
The rear-view 360 degree camera has been a great set of extra eyes. This would be great in the summer when I feel like the kids are always running around the car when I am backing up. This has also helped with parking this beast of a minivan!
The extra room in the trunk would have been useful if I had to cart stuff around.
Dual sunroofs have let some sunshine in during this crazy snowy weather we’ve had in Chicago.
Honestly the 2015 Kia Sedona has made me think about a new car. I drove it around our neighborhood and on the highway, it was a smooth ride wherever I went. I didn’t realize though how fast I was going at some points as the ride was truly smooth and quiet. The 2015 Kia Sedona starts at $26,100 and goes just up past $43,000 for fully loaded. I would definitely look into the extra features as they really do make it a nice ride!
Here is a video I made as well on the 2015 Kia Sedona:

I am starting to look for my next vehicle. A friend has one of the these and really likes it. I like that it seats seven and all the extras are great. Not sure I would need them all.

Amazing! My Kia Sportage is a 2007 but WOW. It has nothing going on compared to the new Kias. For real! The Sedona is pretty amazing. Don’t the technology and comfort features really make a difference? They sure do for me! I’ve owned two Kias, back to back, and they’re so fabulous. Great performance and reliability and super warranty. Such great vehicles.

This makes me realize how outdated my 2002 car is. No special things in it.
