Dragonbreath #10: Knight-napped!
Publisher: Dial Books Penguin Young Readers (January 6, 2015)
Format: Hardcover
208 Pages
In the tenth book of the series perfect for Dork Diaries and Wimpy Kid fans, this dragon will storm a castle, battle a knight, and stand up to any bully!
What does Danny Dragonbreath do when his super-annoying cousin Spencer gets kidnapped by knights? First, he thinks about how nice and quiet Thanksgiving would be without Spencer. Then, of course, Danny goes off to rescue him, with his cohorts Wendell and Christiana by his side. Their action-packed mission involves a dirty dungeon, a very squelchy moat, a big surprise for Christiana . . . and jousting galore! The hilarious Dragonbreath series matches up classic middle grade humor with comic panels. It’s guaranteed to make you laugh until smoke comes out of your nose!
This is the 10th book in the Dragonbreath series. It is a great book for kids to get them interested in reading and with a whole series of books it can keep them busy! The book is is full of dragons, adventures and fun! The font on each page makes it easier for kids to follow and there are even illustrations on many pages, which helps kids break up the book and give them creative images to follow. I really think this is a cute book and while my son is not a great reader yet, I have been reading it to him and he enjoys it. I like that it is a hardcover book which makes it durable, especially since my son likes to carry it around. I haven’t read any of the other books, which might have helped but we still enjoyed this book.
