My favorite show at the moment is Mysteries at the Museum. They showed an episode recently from a toy museum that told the history of playdough. It actually started as wall paper cleaner because it would get the soot off of walls without damaging the wall paper.
If that’s not historic enough, King Henry VIII had a horribly infected and gangrenous wound on his leg that had to be drained and bandaged regularly.

Since grade school I’ve been a sucker for anything about ancient Egypt. My favorite museum is the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago and the first two places in the museum I have to visit are the ancient Egypt and dinosaurs exhibits.
