This month I am kicking off my Denny’s Diners Ambassadorship with some awesome news from Denny’s that I am excited not only to share but experience.
Denny’s is partnering with DreamWorks Animation’s award-winning film and television franchises. Some of the characters they will be featuring are Penguins of Madagascar, Puss in Boots, Turbo FAST, Shrek, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, The Croods, Home and How to Train Your Dragon. The DreamWorks characters will be featured on the Denny’s kids menus in a variety of interactive puzzles and games that families can enjoy while they are dining.
I will say I am super grateful when restaurants give kids an engaging activity sheet they can complete while we dine, it gives us something to do as a family and it gives my kids something to do for more than a few minutes! Denny’s seriously goes the extra mile with their Kids Menus especially because they are a whole booklet full of activities!
The Kids Menus are also actual menus and what I love about them is they feature pictures of all the foods. My kids love circling what they want on the menu rather than listening to me read and describe what the restaurant has.
All three of my kids have it down pat on what what they can order from each section and they all have their favorites. For example, my oldest son loves the Build Your Own Jr. Grand Slam and option to add additional sides for just under $1. He eats more than he would eat at home and with the low cost of the meal and add-on sides its still affordable.
Kids can also add-on an adorable animal adventure cup that they can take home. So cute and fun!
In addition to the physical activities for kids, there is more fun that can be had via the DreamWorks COLOR App. It will feature fun family activities along with movie content, games and more! Guests can color the DreamWorks characters featured on the Denny’s Kids Menu then use the DreamWorks COLOR App to bring their drawings to life! The characters will literally jump off the menu in 3D! It is a great way to get kids to engage in some old school fun of coloring and then new school fun incorporating tablets!
There is a lot more planned for Denny’s this year that I can’t wait to share! Denny’s also features Kids Eat Free Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM so families can really stretch their budget while still enjoying a quality meal! (You might want to check with your local Denny’s to confirm that they participate.)

I have not had a chance to eat at Denny’s as of yet, but there is one a few towns over from me. I do like the Penguins too and looks like a lot of fun.
