Simplifying Lunchboxes With PlanetBox #PlanetBox

All of the sudden I have found myself with a calendar that is constantly filled.  From picking up my kids to taking them to various events, I eat a lot in the car.  I will say I usually go the fast food route but I am trying so hard to be better.  Fast food choices are easy and convenient whereas whenever I try to bring my own food, I end up with mush or limited choices because the food needs to be kept cold.

PlanetBox offers three different sized lunch boxes depending on your need. I got the chance to check out the Launch lunchbox.  While it is pricey at $69.95, it is something that will save me in the long run since I won’t be eating out as much and with its high quality materials it is something that will last. Other lunch boxes are usually just the insulated part but the Launch lunchbox contains so much more than that.

I will say it is so much easier to throw a lunch or even snacks in my Launch box rather than trying to pack things in separate little bags and then in one big bag.  The Launch keeps everything contained in one stainless steel box that its easy to clean.

So to use I just pack everything I’d like in my Launch then close it up.

And voilah I am ready to grab it and go.  I prefer the strap to carry it like a purse, when my husband uses it he just removes the strap and carries it.

I have tried other lunch boxes before and I really like the Launch box.  I have found that I use a lot more than I expected and I’ve even cut back on drive thru’s.  I just fill it up with snacks before I head out and then while I am out chauffeuring my kids around, I have food handy!  My kids love it because I can now carry around snacks for them as well, I think they too are getting sick of so much fast food.  It is amazing how much a simple lunchbox can change how my family and I eat.  No more searching for containers or running out of bags, or worrying about hot/cold foods.  I love that the Launch even comes with a container for dipping sauces!

To go with my Launch lunch box, I already received the BottleRocket Water Bottle.  This is a perfect water bottle that holds 11 ounces of liquids.  The bottle is stainless steel and a perfect companion to my Launch lunch box.

My boys actually use this bottle more than I do since it holds only 11 ounces but it is perfect for them.  I like the double walled construction which really does keep liquids cold, perfect for cold water for lunch time.  The bottle does have a nice grip design and it sturdy, which my kids have tested by dropping it.  Oh and it has double protection for leaks while transporting with a latch and spout seal, which is removable. The price is about $28 for one of these bottles but its durable stainless steel design will make it last for however long your kids and you can keep track of it!
