Baking to me has always been more than just eating something yummy. While I didn’t do a lot of baking with my mom when I was younger, I do remember watching her. I wasn’t really a hands-on baker back then, but rather more of an observer soaking it all in. I loved sitting at the kitchen island, watching my mom work her magic. Back then things too were harder since she didn’t have anything fancy in the kitchen like the mixer she has now or the shortcut products she uses now. Cooking and baking were an all day ordeal it seemed like, or maybe it was just because my mom always seemed to be in the kitchen.
Country Crock is a brand that knows how families come together in the kitchen when baking. Country Crock for example can be used when making cookies, mashed potatoes, a casserole or vegetables.
Country Crock® has less saturated fat than butter and contain 0g trans fat per serving, no cholesterol and no partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (PHVO).
Even though they are just a spread they are like the glue for baking so it only makes sense that they launch a campaign called “So Much Good Happens When We Bake.” Memories can be created and experiences passed on with just a few simple ingredients. Sometimes its hard to get caught up with this and that in everyday life or thinking that we need to do costly activities to engage our kids. Just baking with kids is a cheap (or free if you have everything on hand) way to enjoy time together and have some good times!
With how crazy my life has been lately with activities, I am all about simple ways to be together as a family that we can all enjoy. With kids different ages too it can be hard to find something we can all participate in and by baking together we not only get to enjoy the moment together baking but then we get to enjoy eating together!
Looking for some recipes to start creating memories in your kitchen? Check out the Country Crock website!
With the help of a friendly grocery store, Country Crock was able to share with unsuspecting families the good that happens, when we bake. All that was needed were a few colored pencils, the modern magic of a 3D printer, and the reminder that watching a child’s imagination come to life is one of the special joys of baking together. Don’t miss the original film in the #WhenWeBake series at WhenWeBake.com.
Country Crock actually sent me a baking kit for my family to enjoy and I can’t wait to start baking together, now to just decide what kind of cookies we are going to make! I just baked up a storm for Easter since I was in charge of desserts but its been a few weeks and we are ready for some more treats. I honestly love baking with Country Crock, with less saturated fat then butter it also leaves whatever I cook flavorful and just right.
Actually this recipe sounds quick and yummy:
